Myke Obenieta

Hi:

I'm the editor of the Saturday supplement of Sun.Star Cebu where we have a section called BLOG PLUG in which we recommend a "blog of the week" for our readers to visit. This is to encourage readers of mainstream media to discover new media, like the blogosphere. With your permission, I wish to feature your site by posting this timely holiday piece. Thank you very much.

I am sending you, by aether-ship, a large e-box tied with an invisible Christmas-colored bow and containing several square yards of absolutely nothing.

Feel free to dispose of the same as you wish.

Or to put it another way:

R J Keefe

Please send me something! Here in New York, anything can be recycled quite quickly.

What an ingenious idea!

Jen&HerBoat

I'm with you!

All the best of the season. :)

Your blog posts are always gifts, and this one is no exception. May your liberation continue. Best wishes for this holiday season and the coming year.

A Girl Just Like You

These are very Buddhist sentiments - non-attachment and not being owned by possessions. You'd make a pretty good Buddhist, actually, perhaps the monkish sort. This would accomodate your asocial tendencies quite well. Warm regards in the new year, A Girl Just Like You

The Sanity Inspector

I have heard from more than one person that the kindest thing their parents ever did was to empty the house out before they died.

OTOH, my parents always saved tons of stuff they no longer used. Much of it is now a window on the past for me, and some of it may be monetarily valuable someday soon.

Excellent!
